2. Teo Soon Loong Seafood Restaurant (潮顺隆餐馆)
Previously known as Teo Soon Leong Chan Restaurant, Teo Soon Loong Seafood Restaurant is a Chinese seafood restaurant which specializes in Teo Chew cuisines. Inside of the restaurant, there are few cupboard full of liquor ranging from red wine to whiskey and even cooking wine.
Once stepping inside the restaurant, diners would notice there is an open fridge where fresh vegetables are displayed and to be picked. There is another section where all the seafood such as crabs, shellfish, mussels, prawns and fishes are stored.
The signature dishes of Teo Soon Loong Seafood Restaurant would be their oyster cuisines. Recommended by the restaurant chef, diners can try out their famous Oyster Noodle and Oyster Omelette where generous amount of oysters are served.
The Oyster Noodle is braised with right amount of sweetness and saltiness form the sauce, it taste better with a dash of black vinegar and garlic too.
Besides that, the chef also recommend the Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab that is best eaten with sweet caramelized sauce. The secret why this crunchy crispy fried seafood dish is so finger licking delicious is due to its sauce which is sweet with little plum-ish and lightly infused of marmite sauce. Since it is a Teo Chew style seafood restaurant, it serve great Teo Chew cuisines too, to name a few; Teo Chew Yam Dessert, Bittergourd Pork Ribs, Salted Egg with Chicken, Teo Chew deep-friend Dumplings and Teo Chew style steamed fish shall not be missed too upon any chances of visiting to the restaurant.

3. City Famous Seafood Malacca (城市海鲜驰名亚参鱼)
City Famous Seafood Malacca is a seafood restaurant that serves delicious seafood and traditional Chinese cuisine under the sole roof. It is not certified as Halal but occasionally, you will find Malay customers around during dining time too.
The highlighted dish of this restaurant would be the Asam Pedas Fish, a classic Malaysian sour spicy dish that taste tangy, spicy and appetizing. What made this dish so delicious is that there are special ingredients like tamarind peel, ginger torch flower and Vietnamese coriander aka laksa leaves are included during the preparation process. These ingredients are the ones that create the special ‘asam pedas’ taste and aroma.
Other than that, their Sambal Prawns and Sambal Squid are highly recommended too. These dishes may looks simple but they are best paired with white rice. It is enjoyable to enjoy the sambal squid soft and juicy, instead of just the normal chewy texture.

4. Monterious Portuguese Seafood Restaurant
Hidden in a community centre in Portuguese Settlement Malacca, the Monterios franchise began with the small Seafood stall serving a wonderful variety of shellfishes to a full-fledge restaurant of their own now.

Restoran Aunty Fatso is another seafood restaurant that serves great Cheese Beehoon With Prawns that obtain good reviews for this famous dish of theirs from every diners.

6. Restoran Tong Sheng (東昇園海鮮家)
Located strategically in the Malacca Central, Restoran Tong Sheng successfully attracts many foodies from all around Malaysia and even foreign country to their place.

If you are not really interested into these grilled fish, you may request for a change to steamed or fried fish too, as the owner generously allow customization of food in order to fulfill every of their diners’ appetite.

10. Sea Terrace Portuguese Settlement Malacca
Sea Terrace Portuguese Settlement Malacca is one of the most popular seafood restaurant in Malacca which serve great seafood cuisines. There is high competition among the settlement as there are nine stretch of restaurants selling seafood available there. The location in simple, very casual dining. Sea Terrace is the first seafood restaurant in the settlement, which is located just next to the car park.
The most recommended dish of theirs would be the sambal prawn, which would make everyone ending up licking the prawn shells due to the delicious sambal sauce and sucking the sweetness of the prawn. The sambal is not overly dry nor spicy, it offer a taste of sweet spicy that is quite mild to the taste bud. Other recommended dishes would be the restaurant’s Mee Goreng, Baked Crab, Sweet and Sour Crab, Fried Fritters, Kangkung Belachan, Otak Otak, Steamfish, Steam Prawn and Grilled Fish.

Restaurant San Pedro is the oldest seafood restaurant in Portuguese Settlement which is facing to the sea that serves delish Portuguese style seafood cuisine. It might took some time upon searching for this restaurant, but it is guaranteed that this restaurant could satisfy every foodies’ crave for seafood.
The owner of Restaurant San Pedro is proudly to present the Portuguese style Prawns, which is their signature dish. This dish looks like Chinese style soy fried prawns, but it does not taste like it. The sauce that covered the fresh springy prawns has richer, more creamier and sweeter sauce when compared. Another signature dish of theirs would be the Portuguese Grilled Fish. This dish is scrumptious and the fish is sweet and fresh, with the right level of cookness. It goes really well with an addictive chilli blended sauce that give a nice fragrance to it.
Not forgot to order their Curry Debal or Devil Curry too. Although it is not a seafood cuisine, but it might get every diners with ooohhs and aaahhhsss in every bite. This Curry Debal’s gravy is thick, sourish and spicy, best paired with steamed rice. The chicken is very tender and absorbed all the marination throughly. However, it is not really recommended for diners who cannot stand any spiciness in spicy food.

12. Jalan Bunga Raya Back Alley ‘Si Ham’ Stall (Tong Bee’s Stall)
Seafood hunting in Malacca would not be completed without a trip to the popular Jalan Bunga Raya Back Alley ‘Si Ham’ Stall for some fresh squid, cockles, clams and varieties of fresh seafood. Also known as longkang siham or cockles by the drain, here, diners are able to experience fresh seafood feast on fresh seafood while sitting in a dimly-lit alley and feel the friendly atmosphere of the locals.
Do not be surprised by the motorcycles come zooming past while sitting on the tiny stools along the long table prepared by the owner too, since the stall is located at the back alley.
While waiting for the seafood, diners have opportunities to see how their food were being prepared as Tong Bee’s stall cooks the seafood ordered in an open kitchen. All of these fresh seafood are boiled before serving, and they are best paired with the stall’s home inspired nutty spicy sauce. The price of these seafood are quite cheap too, with only RM4.00 per plate. Side dishes such as grilled bean curd (tauhu bakar), grilled cuttlefish, fishball rojak and sotong kangkung are served by the stall so there is always something for everyone.
